Profile
Chen Binkai is the professor and dean of School of Economics in Central University of Finance and Economics. He received his Ph.D degree in economics at Peking University. After that, he visited University of Wisconsin for one year and worked as a research consultant in World Bank.
His research interest is macroeconomics and development economics. He has been elected in New Century Talent Supporting Project by Ministry of Education in 2012, the Beijing Youth Talents Project in 2014, the Young Top-Notch Personnel Project by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC in 2014, the Yangtse River Scholars (Youth Project) by Ministry of Education in 2015 and honored with the Young Experts with Outstanding Contributions by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in 2017.
His English paper was published on Oxford Bulletin of Economics, Statistics and World Development, etc. And over 30 Chinese paper has been published on Chinese top journals: Social Sciences in China (2), Economic Research Journal (14), The Journal of World Economy (8), China Economic Quarterly (4), Management World (2), etc.
He was in charge of the Major Project of the National Social Science Foundation of China, the General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Post-funded Project of Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation of Ministry of Education, the Project of the National Social Science Foundation of Beijing and the Basic Research Program for Young Teacher of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation.
