At the noon of March 21, 2005, the US secretary of state Dr. Rice visited Peking University and held a meeting with the scholars on Sino-US relations and the representatives from Peking University at Zhifuxuan, China Center for Economic Research, PKU. Dr. Xuzhihong, the president of Peking University, professor Haoping, the vice president and the US ambassador attended the meeting too. More than 40 students from different Colleges at PKU discussed the issues on Sino-US relations with Dr. Rice.
