National School of Development holds the “Opportunity Challenge & Prospect” Summit Forum

    On the morning of May 15th, 2012, a summit forum under the theme of “Opportunity Challenge & Prospect-- The European Debt Crisis and Influence of China-EU Cooperation” was held in the Moonlight Hall in Yingjie Conference Center at Peking University. This forum was jointly hostly by the National School of Development, the China Society for People’s Friendship Studies and the Embassy of Greece. The Former Prime Minister of Greece, Costas Simitis, and the Vice Chairman of  the 9th and 10th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Cheng Siwei, and the Supervisory Board Chairman of the China Investment Corporation, Jin Linqun, were the guest speakers at the forum. Denmark being the rotating presidency of the European Union, its Ambassador Pei Deshesng also came to the forum. The Vice President of the National School of Development, the Director of Peking University’s China Macroeconomics Research Center, Professor Lu Feng, as well as the Director of the China Institute of International Studies Qu Xing participated in the discussion. The host of this forum is the Deputy General Manager of the Investor Relations Department in Cosco Group, one of the alumni in 2007 BiMBA, Jing Tian.
