Professor Huang Yiping was appointed Vice President of the National School of Development

According to the Peking University file, decided by the school, Professor Huang Yiping was appointed Vice President of the National School of Development of Peking University.

Huang Yiping, is a Professor of Economics at Peking University’s National School of Development. His main research areas include macroeconomics and international finance. He’s also an adjunct faculty at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University, Rio Tinto Professor of Chinese Economy, and a member of the China Finance 40 Forum. He formerly served as an assistant researcher at the Development Research Center of China’s State Council Rural Development Research Center, the General Mills International Visiting Professor of Economics and Finance at the Columbia University Business School, the Chinese Economy Project Director at the Australian National University, Managing Director of Citigroup / Asia-Pacific region Chief Economist, Chairman of Serica Investment Funds, Chief Economist of Caixin media, Barclays Managing Director / Chief Economist of the Asian emerging market economies. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the National University of Australia and a Master of Economics, Renmin University of China.
